There are approximately 4 million acres in the State of Washington classified as forestland and controlled by private woodland owners. Many of these private forestlands are harvested without the owner obtaining maximum profit. Washington Timberland Management, Inc. (WTM) feels this is a gross injustice to the tax-paying landowners.
A Service Company
WTM is a full service forestry consulting firm specializing in developing specific and detailed managment programs suited to our client's need and goals. We advise and/or oversee the proper removal and marketing of the landowner's forest products. It's just good sense in any business for both the seller and the buyer to have the correct value of the forest product to be harvested. Herin lies the key to the importance of hiring our firm.
We concentrate our business activities in two basic phases of Forestry: Managment and Inventory. We manage forestland throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. We are concerned with a variety of obligations for the various clients who own these lands. Our inventory division is responsible for developing and completing land and timber inventories and cruises for private, industrial and government clientele.
Ongoing education is a hallmark activity for the WTM forestry staff. We continually build on our knowledge base in the forest industry through participation ina wide variety of education programs.
Our Goal
Each landowner should be most concerned that they take the course of action which best benefits them, their land and the present and future crops harvested from that land.
